What is life?
Just a short term deal between Man and the Supernatural.
The Price- Mortal Sufferings and Death when we start to enjoy Life.
The Reward- Supreme Happiness and a Life just for the Pleasure of Oneself.
Above all it is just an ILLUSION.........I find this definition of life ( By Me, Myself & I) quite appropriate. The first question we must ask ourselves is - What is an Illusion??? When we go to sleep we dream (At least most of us do) u_u and whatever we dream is not just real. It's something that just happens in our minds. It's due to what those doctors will call as "chemical changes" and "neural activities" inside over smart , strange and psychotic device called - The Brain. But this blog ain't about the neurological studies. This blog is all about the conclusions we arrive at after thinking about life.
So coming back to it- Dream. Many poets and literary artists describe the Dreaming process as a sub- conscience activity reflecting whatever we may have thought throughout that day or any time in our life. Many poets and authors have described it using a lot of fancy adjectives........Lovely, Beautiful, Colourful, Adventurous, Fantasy etc..... But have we got any control over what we dream? I don't think so...
In the above poem by Ms. Rosemary, We hold the key to the magical world of dreams. But if that is true, why don't we dream whenever we like?
I guess you guys(&gals) have got a general picture of what a dream is. Illusion is nothing but a sort of dream like phenomenon that occurs whenever we are in a conscious state.
"An instance of a wrong or misinterpreted perception of a sensory experience" is how the world famous Oxford Dictionary describes it.Leave all the concept of God , Life , Earth , and other materialistic stuff. Think of only you. You- Existing without any thought or any sort of mental thinking. Think of a world where you are there existing just as a shell, with no thought or anything. Suppose that world is controlled by somebody. And you perceive only that which He wants to you to perceive. Even the basic ability of thinking is controlled by Him. It's like you are a puppet in the hands of a puppeteer. So whatever thoughts he is inducing into your mind are not yours, it's just your illusion to think that it's true.In an uncomplicated way it can be described as the experience of being in a state where you are like a Robot following orders from a master common to all the mankind, but you do not realize that you are not yourselves but you are being controlled by another.
That is life , my friends, an Illusion.
All the sorrows, sufferings, joy, excitement etc etc etc.....experienced by us is nothing but a part of that illusion called Life. It is not real, it is real. You can feel it, but "Maybe" deep down it doesn't exist.
And that state of Illusion , my friends, is what we call as...................
"LIFE"
